When designing a new extrusion line, or upgrading an existing line, utilize input from multiple sources, including in- house expertise, primary equipment suppliers, auxiliary equipment suppliers, and resin suppliers. Be sure you understand the specifications and equipment functions. Do your homework. Another alternative is to hire a consultant.
