Verify Drawings

When installing new equipment, always assume that the drawings are wrong – both for the equipment and the plant. With the OEM – verify – in the plant go measure things yourself. Not only will you gain peace of mind, you will avoid the unpleasant surprises of incomplete or incorrect drawings, or an orientation that wasn’t exactly the way you thought it was.
