Color Changes

We are all aware of the painfully long times that are necessary to purge pigment from an extruder when changing colors. This should be a valuable lesson for any grade change.
For example, what about experimenting with new grades of a natural polymer? Are you leaving an adequate time for complete purging of the previous resin, before taking samples?
