Remember the time dimension to mixing problems. An extruder cannot compensate for time dependent variations in composition or material quality beyond about 1/10 of the extruder's residence time.
Beyond that, you must correct the problem upstream of the extruder by improved feeder accuracy or by effective pre blending.
