A low cost solution to minimize the static shock on a sheet line can be made from a piece of insulated copper wire with fine wire strands.

Strip the insulation from 4 6" on one end and unbraid the strands let these strands slide on the sheet surface. Strip insulation from the other end and attach it to the machine.
