Remove Buildup

Many times after the screw is removed from the barrel and during the cleaning process, material is forced back into the gearbox or screw seat. This will cause the screw to either not fit upon installation, or cause the screw to not firmly seat, which can cause future mechanical and process problems. Be sure to prevent the buildup of material in this area.
