Easy Screw Disassembly

A convenient trick to ease screw disassembly from a keyed or splined shaft in the lab is to use mold release coating on the shafts.

lt does not readily migrate into the product or onto the screw surfaces and the elements easily slide off the shafts, for both hot and cold.
