Extruder Drive
Vol.20 #1, Mar., 1993
Check ampmeter, voltmeter and screw RPM gauges at least twice per shift. A sudden increase or decrease in motor load means trouble.
Investigate the cause (screw temperature a prime suspect). RPM gauge fluctuation, however slight, justifies a call to a drive serviceman, unless you can find the cause.
